Hillside Hawks Women & Girls Rugby League Club

Welcome to our website!

We are Hillside Hawks women and girls rugby league club and we run competitive teams from age 11 to 16 and a women's team for everyone over 16 yrs old.

The 2004/5 we struggled for players at our younger age groups but stuck with it to re-build both the u14's and u15's squads and they went on to be league runners up in both age groups which is tremendous.

The u16's won their league, which makes Hillside the only u16's to win back to back trophies.

The women started the season in the Premiership for the 1st time and this was always going to be a big step, but they adjusted very well and came 4th and narrowly missed out on 3rd to Castleford on points difference only.

Other developments during the season include the appointment of Joe Warburton (the women's coach) as the Women's Great Britain Coach

We are continualy looking coaches to train the u13's and u15's girls teams. If you are interested please contact us via the website.

We have a photo Gallery were members can order photo's, so keep looking you might be featured!We run totally from voluntary help and without them we would not be able to function, so we also have a section detailing who is who and what they do.

Our Events section will have the latest fundraising dates, course dates for volunteers and trips, so keep looking!

We have a regular monthly newsletter that goes out, now that will be available on the web site as well, just in case you lost it!
